Terms and Conditions of Temporary Boarding

To guarantee the utmost safety and well-being of all our guests, access to the facility is governed by the following regulations, which are deemed fully accepted upon booking.

1. General Dispositions

The activities of EthologyCat House include feline boarding services (cat hotel) and support for behavioral therapies. Access to and stay in the facility are governed by these regulations and the pre-signed agreement, both of which are fully binding on all visitors.

2. Mandatory Documentation

Upon arrival, the owner (or their written delegate) must present:

1. A valid Identity Document of the owner (and of the eventual delegate, with a specific written authorization/proxy).
2. The original Health Record (Libretto Sanitario) or Passport of the cat
3. A complete Information Sheet containing all necessary details regarding: dietary habits, special needs, feeding frequency, toys, and level of sociability. In the absence of a Health Record, a recent veterinary certificate certifying the health status and well-being of the cat is strictly mandatory.

3. Sanitary Protocol and Vaccinations

• Annual Vaccination (Trivalent and/or Hexavalent/Tetravalent): Must be valid and fully documented.
• Timing Vaccinations must have been administered at least 15 days prior to entry to be considered active. In the case of a first-time vaccination, the booster shot must have been administered after 30 days, otherwise the vaccine will be deemed ineffective.
• FIV and FELV tests are mandatory, with documented negative results.
• Recommended Treatments: deworming performed at least 10 days prior to entry, and flea/antiparassitic treatment performed at least 48 hours prior to arrival.
• Right of Refusal: the Management reserves the right to refuse any animal that, in its sole judgment, may pose a danger to the health of other guest cats.

4. Hours and Stay Management

• By Appointment Only: Check-in and check-out occur exclusively by appointment from Monday to Saturday, between 10:30 and 17:30, in accordance with the established boarding schedule..
• Changes Any changes to the boarding period must be promptly communicated to and accepted by the Management.
• Delays Any delay in retrieving the cat beyond the scheduled date will result in the automatic charging of additional boarding days, all incurred expenses, and a penalty of € 25.00 per day.
• Erarlier Retrieval: The booked boarding period must be paid in full even in the event of early retrieval for reasons not attributable to EthologyCat House

5. Medical Assistance and Liability

• 24/7 Medical Care: EthologyCat House guarantees 24-hour health assistance. In the event of an urgent veterinary intervention, if the cat’s primary veterinarian is unavailable, the Management will contact its own trusted veterinarian. All resulting veterinary costs will be charged to the owner.
• Liability: The facility is expressly exonerated from any liability for illegal or criminal acts committed by third parties (e.g., theft, break-in, etc.).

6. Payments and Failure to Retrieve

• Payment Settlement: Boarding fees must be paid in full on or before the check-out date.
• Failure to Retrieve: If the cat is not retrieved within 7 days of the scheduled date without any valid justification (as determined at the sole discretion of the Management), the Management reserves the right to take legal action with all costs charged to the owner, as well as the right to entrust the cat to relevant organizations or private individuals for its care and protection.
