About us

Born in 2012 out of the deep dedication of Valentina Pizzolato, EthologyCat House represents the first and to date only ethological boarding cattery in Italy, sort of a feeling of immense love and gratitude towards the feline world. The structure was conceived not as a simple waiting place for the owner's return, but as a residence designed exclusively for psychophysical wellbeing and the respect for the true essence of the cat.

Nestled in the green hills of Pieve del Grappa, in the Treviso foothills, our organisation offers its four-legged guests a true outdoor holiday, moving beyond the traditional concept of “safekeeping” to embrace that of mindful hospitality.

Our mission is based on a philosophy of ethics and biodiversity, in which the cat is not anthropomorphised or considered a projection of man, but is recognised as an individual with specific physical, instinctive and cognitive needs. For this reason, in collaboration with veterinary behaviourists, we combine our hospitality with support for behavioural therapies and bioenergy, ensuring an approach that safeguards the health, well-being and dignity of every creature.

We firmly believe that every cat deserves to be taken into account, listened to and protected. Our aim is to turn the time spent away from the family into a rejuvenating experience, where the cat can express its predatory nature in complete safety and freedom.
